The ScratchPost came-about as a means to help artists working in film keep a finger on the pulse of the job market. Back in 1997, I originally created the site under the name ‘Ask Dr. Clam’ where I would post contact information of the dozens of companies I contacted while looking for the next gig. The idea of the site was born by the level of frustration looking for a job, in an already competitive field, and because I felt that no one deserves the stress and endless circles searching, so l wanted to make it easy for everyone.
